The Match has started with a powerful  batting by Virender Sehwag.

The most awaited World Cup Semi Final match between India and Pakistan ,is attended by Indian Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, who has also invited Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani to accompany him to watch the match.

The list also includes President of Indian National Congress Sonia Gandhi, son Rahul Gandhi and finance minister P Chidambaram. Numerous Bollywood luminaries will also be present at the stadium cheering for the men in blue.
These include Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, Preity Zinta, Suniel Shetty, Dharmendra and his sons Sunny and Bobby Deol, Madhur Bhandarkar as well as Pakistani actress Veena Malik and Ashmit Patel.
King Khan  has cancelled all his shoots and appointments in order to watch the match at his residence Mannat along with his close friends.
His guest list includes Hrithik Roshan, Karan Johar, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay and wife Maheep Kapoor, Chunky and Bhavna Pandey.
South star Siddharth too has cancelled his plans of flying down to Mohali to watch the match.
